Adams has been active in MASA serving as Chairman of the Program Committee

The Missouri Council of School Directors (MCSA) is the umbrella organization for 2 autonomous statewide professional associations of public college administrators. The Missouri Affiliation of Faculty Directors (MASA) serves faculty superintendents. The Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals (MAESP) serves elementary and middle college principals.

Dr. Terry Adams, Superintendent of the Wentzville R-IV School District, has been named the Missouri Superintendent of the Year by the Missouri Association of Faculty Directors (MASA). The announcement of the award was made throughout the Missouri School Boards' Association and MCSA Exam joint fall conference held at Tan-Tar-A Resort October 1.

Because the winner of this award, Adams obtained an award acknowledging his selection; a $500 scholarship for a scholar in the Wentzville Faculty District and a commemorative ring. The award is sponsored by the PFM Asset Management, LLC, which is the program administrator for the Missouri Securities Investment Program. As the recipient of this award, Adams will characterize Missouri in the Nationwide Superintendent of the Yr program performed by the American Association of Faculty Administrators.

Adams has been employed by the Wentzville School District as Superintendent of Colleges since July, 2006. He has served previously as Superintendent of Faculties for the Rolla Public Faculty District, the Central R-III School District and the Arcadia Valley R-II College District.
